If there's any interest from KLF-heads I used to own The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu - 1987 What The Fuck Is Going On? (Cauty & Drummond's first full-length, which was recalled due to copyright issues and all recalled copies were burnt) and still have a lossless backup, but as it's not very good I'll only post it if there's an expressed interest. However, I will try to remember to post Chill Out this coming month as it's one of my favorite ambient releases of all time, up there with Brian Eno's Music for Airports (which you'll hear echos of in "What Goes On (Ambient Mix 3)" from Lost Sounds of Mu vol. 1), and we can all use a little chill music on a warm summer eve..

Genre: Electronic

Notes: "All sounds have been captured in the name of Mu. We liberate these songs from all kopyright restrictions without prejudice. A KLF-ish Kommunication."
Of all the K Produkt I have, this and vol.2 (forthcoming) are my favorites. I thought the KLF were just a simple discordian joke until they burnt a million pounds. To me that atleast showed they weren't totally useless. Well, that and their manual on how to write a number one single (the only question that remains is why you would bother now that they've illustrated exacty how pointless it is?).
Unfortunately I hit my limit for the month upping the second volume, so that'll have to wait until the 1st..

Format: Vinyl, 12", Unofficial Release
Country: USA
Released: 2007
Genre: Electronic
Style: IDM, Experimental
Notes: A poor-quality bootleg taken from MP3 source and mislabeled (wrong sides) but hey, it's still old BoC on new vinyl. A1 - From 'Mask 200', A2 - From 'A Few Old Tunes', B1 - From 'Mask 500', B2 - From 'Mask 100'.
And that is exactly as I remember them on the 1991 Yellow Tape Tour. I loved them that winter, and have on and off ever since. not all of their music resonates with me, but they are a wonderful live band. Fell back into listening to them again more regularly since their performance at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Hope you enjoy this listening. :)
