[this is good]
"paralogical research finds that early music training can dramatically increase a child's brain power, building the kinds of skills necessary to succeed at high level math and science."

christ.. listen to those flares. pure brilliance in motion.then you get the afro-caribbean hand-drumming while the lyrical synths wind you all the way into the break. and god, what a break.

"ok baby, let's make this one."

the syncopations in the basic patterns are really nice, adding an acid feel where you'd least expect it. more sliding up and down the scale with that tribal pulse, and then boom, back to africa. more flares and scribbles and just siiiiick turntablism all over the place... how can you resist it? let go!

"want you to go, stand by ... ready? ... ok, let's make this one."

Walking string bass and poppy african tin-can drums and yes, more trumpet wickedness.

10 years later, and I can't resist the hooks in this track. Brilliance.
